We are extremely excited to announce that Bimmerfest will be coming to the east coast on August 6, 2011 at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Maryland! BMW enthusiasts have been asking for an east coast show for years and we are thrilled that Bimmerfest East 2011 will be the answer to those requests.

Wow. Great question.

Some people think the caravans of BMWs driving (racing) to the show together en masse is the best part. At the show it's sorta like being at a rock concert, but the cars are the stars. People who have only previously known each other as their User ID/ forum nicknames get to actually meet face-to-face and hang out. Everything from stock E92s to classic E9s to the wildest modified M3s on the planet all come together for just one day to celebrate all things BMW.

There is so much more than that, though. Just go to You Tube and search the key word Bimmerfest.

Treat yourself to hundreds of videos to get a feel for it...

Will there be any events? Autocross? Drag (here's the closest 1/4 mile track: http://www.cecilcountydragway.com/trackinfo.shtml)? Or is it just a show up and look at pretty cars thing?

I live in CA and I feel for all our brothers and sisters who either can never attend Bimmerfest due to distance, or have to suffer the long drive to get here.

I can already tell this year is going to be a great event year x2 as well as a great year of swapping 'fest stories with members from both coasts!

I don't see E28 5-series or 2002s listed. Are we welcomed?

Bimmerfest is like Mecca for BMW enthusiasts. The greatest day (now two) of my life. I just have to say that I love the fest more than my own birthday/christmas combined. I'm so excited that there is going to be one on the East Coast! Good call BF!

I didn't see any registered, but followed your link - thanks! I spread the word to several other forums, so the E28s are registering now, too.
