Back in the fold.....

long time since i posted but now have a reason to. Just acquired a 97 Boston Green M3 sedan. Phenomenal shape, all service records since new, clean history, no accidents. Two previous owners, one a Doc the other a Pharmacist, both super anal about service. Came with Lux package as well.
Question i have is I also acquired an extra set of M Contours/staggered with the car. Im thinking I will sell them and get some VMR's or Alzor's with summer tires and keep the M Conturs for the all seasons/winter driving.

Thoughts anyone? I thought about a square set up and initially it seemed the PO had the same idea but once I had the car home i noticed 8.5 all around but the 225 series tires on the front so in effect only the rims were a square setup not the tires so no rotation. This is a daily driver so no track days on the horizon for this car. i have the G37s for that so I think an all seasons tire staggered set up for winter and the VMR/Alzor staggered/summer tire set up for warm weather. Thanks in advance for feedback...

FYI, all the M contours have recently been professionally refinished so they are mint.

I too recently picked up an m3 sedan with the lux package. However, mine is MISSING its contour wheels; I only have the spare in the back. How much are you looking to get for the set? Good shape (not bent, etc.)?

Seriously, a G37 for the track? Seriously? Man I think you've got that backwards...

Me? I'd get (4) 245-40-17's of what ever flavor, mount them and call it a day. (you said it has (4) 17x8.5's right?)

You would be surprised at the 6mt G37 at VIR. 330 HP, VLSD it moves pretty well. Anyway, yes I have an extra set of M contours, staggered and refinished that came with the M so I may either throw summer tires on the extra set or look to trade for DSII's then put summer shoes on them. I like the thought of two dif sets of wheels.
