An old freind just won Daytona today

I almost fell off my couch when I started to leap over my coffee table when watching
the Wood Brothers car come across the finish line at Daytona today. I had bumped into
Eddie Wood just a few weeks ago and he told me to be on the watch for the new kid
that would be in the 21 car--the wife said I had tears in my eyes--I DID. I know this
isn't BMW stuff and will probably be towed--but what a great race

What a Birthday win.

I wasn't a fan of the two car tango but it was an exciting race with all of the wrecks. And I agree it was good to see the Wood Bros and the young buck represent good ole VA.

The kid was great!

The Wood Brothers certainly have a long and storied racing history. My first memory of them was their legendarily efficient pit stops for Junior Johnson and Cale Yarborough. It's great to see them sustain their tradition as a well run family business.
