Wierd noise in front...

2003 4.6is... today after i got my car back from the shop, when i drive there is a damping sound for EVERY LITTLE single bump on the road even on straight surfaces.. but when i enter the freeway where it should be worse i thought, it just goes away and no sound at all.. it seems like it is comming from near the front wheels or shocks or somwhere there.. any ideas? please and thank you
