What nonlocal dealership? I'm price elastic and will travel for the best deal. If it's outside of Oregon, I presume that by registering it in OR, you avoided sales tax. I did this years ago with an E30 I bought in CA, delivered to AZ, drove to TX where we were stationed, and registered it in OR. Took a while, yes, but worth it.

I mean non-local in the sense that it wasn't in the Portland metropolitan area. It was a bit south. A CAPITAL idea...if you get my drift.
