|
Possible to "PIck UP" BMW at Munich But Not Drive..
We really do not want to drive around in our new BMW before we get it to the US. Is it possible to pick up the car and return it immediately? We are in our 70's and hesitate to drive in Europe with a new car anymore. We would like to take the train to Italy to visit for a week or so.

While you can drop off the car immediately, the drop off location is not the same as the pickup location, it's a few (10?) miles away, so you'd still have to drive it a little bit in Germany. You will get more detailed information in the European Delivery forum which has a wiki as well.

back when I did my first ED in 2002, I had arranged for my car to be dropped at HARMS by the BMW for a cost of 75 Euros or so. Check with ED Customer Service for more info: (800) 932-0831
