Some New Pictures:

We had two dry days here in Portland, so I decided to detail the new car. Took about 12 hours total. To wash, clay, polish and apply three coats of wax and a sealant. Looks pretty sharp though!

I keep forgetting to take interior pictures. I'll do that soon though.

Very nice!

I finally sat in a new X3 this weekend with my wife. Very nice layout I thought. We both decided if the reviews continue to be positive we will pick up an off-lease one in 3 years or sooner.

Beautiful car! You did a great job detailing it! I'm jealous and want a 2011 X3 very badly. I test drove the turbo 35i and fell in love. Now if only the sticker didn't say 54K...

You need a better sticker. Mine said $42,225.

WOW, you spent 12 hrs detailing the car and you just took it to a gravel road afterwards, just like that, WOW indeed.

I live on a dirt/gravel road. I only do a major detail twice a year. Otherwise wash and quick hand wax.

The minute I drive down the road, dusty cars!

Dust us annoying, but rain is my bane. It rains just about every day up here. Gets annoying.

Yeah - I think it definitely is rainier there!

Last summer was the best since I moved here. Sunny every weekend! My wife and I would load up the Z4 with hiking gear, drive to the Presidential Range in the White Mountains in NH and hike almost every weekend. It was great!

This summer, we tackle Mt Washington, the tallest peak on the east coast.

Except one time somebody made marks on my Z4 because it was dusty. Leave my dirty car alone!

The car looks fab! Mine is being shipped, do you remember how long actual transit time took to get PDX? How did you talk the dealer down so low?

I used the Amex/Zag price. Didn't even have to negotiate.

It took almost four weeks to get here from SC. Not sure why it takes so long.

Probably because the dealer was selling "your car" to someone who would pay sticker, and then he reordered your car!

Wouldn't be surprised it this was the case.
