Starting z3 speaker research project need help

Starting research project need help

Objective
Find the largest speaker that will fit in the door panel of a z3.
Detail cutout location, depth available, opening size, trim options and wire routing

Focus
door mounting application
Needed
oem speakers, any condition any years (must be of of the design that will accept oe grill)
oem grilles any condition round 4 to 5". for above
oem door panels, any condition.
I will post a full write up when finished.
I am a bit impulsive.
I just installed.
4" speakers in my z3 doors.
Not liking my covers and would like a sleeker oem look.
I know the oem covers are built in to the speaker and i am hoping to adapt them.
I have some good information now and will share it as soon as i get a little more.
So far far difficulty level is moderate.
