How to unlock an E32 with a dead battery

I did a little video on how to unlock the door on an e32 or e34, just to help anyone out if they're having trouble getting in.. My battery was dead from sitting, so I had to get into my car to charge it. Couldn't do it on the driver's side for some reason though.

I had trouble opening the passenger door.( my door mechanism may be off )........so you can also hook a battery charger up to the inside trunk light......

i have the same issue with a dead battery on my 93 740il. my hood opens from the back, so all the info on removing the grill, and pulling cables, will not work.
putting the key in after pulling up the handle, does not work. I am about to bust out a window, unless i can find a way to unlock this car soon! can anyone help me get this car open?

Your trunk opens with the key...........open it, take out the light bulb and hook up a 12 v battery or battery charger.........+ to the lamp and Ground

Your key locks should now open.
