Looks really good. Looks like you are under ED invoice with that offer.

Although it is true that you save on the purchase price with an ED but in reality you don't really save money and most people do it for the enjoyment and the chance to drive limitless on the Autobahn

Consider the travel expenses and the fact that you lose a lot of time with delivery back to the U.S. You do it for the fun, not really the savings. Don't get me wrong, I love it and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Be warned that 5'er is a relatively large vehicle in Europe and I found many parking spaces, even in hotels, too small. Then there are the tight, narrow cobblestone alleys. You'll manage but it's a slight inconvenience.

Oh yeah, when I was checking out the 5 series back in 2008, I compared the 528 vs 528 sport, then the 535 vs 535 sport. Each level just tops the next. Once I drove the 535 I couldn't go back to the 528. Once I drove the 535 sport I couldn't do w/o the sport pkg. In the end, I ended up with 535+sport+paddle shifters. Even if you don't get the 535 you gotta get the sport pkg. It adds so much to the driving experience. I could do without the paddle shifters though. I don't find myself using them much. The multi-contour seat is kickass too-fits like a glove. Okay, I better stop since you have a budget to keep

I think I will happily spend money on myself rather than giving them away to BMW by paying higher prices in US.

Agreed! It's BMW subsidized European vacation!

Consider lower sales price + free insurance & license on the bimmer for 2 weeks. Any damage to the car will be covered and any accident won't go on your record or insurance at home. The BMW Welt experience and factory tour are fun too. Now the BMW museum is open. Too bad the BMW Taxi at Nurburgring is cancelled for the time being.

BMW will ship to the dealer you purchased the car from. You can ask about courtesy delivery, where the selling dealer will ship to your local dealer for a fee (Adrian can arrange this if the local dealer agrees).
Or...you could do PCD (no extra charge). Highly recommended.

+1 for PCD. I haven't done it yet but I think it will be a great experience. ED + PCD should be fine. Usually, if you arrange delivery at a local dealer, they will charge delivery fee. I would rather to PCD and enjoy.
