Personally I would go for a 19" set.

I had a set of M6 replicas for a while. I had them balanced 5 times and could never get rid of a little shimmy at 65 MPH.

Not to mention m6 reps are more prone to bends.

It's not that replicas are uniformly bad, it's just that you can't tell - especially when buying them second hand. What I can say is that, generally, established reputable wheel manufacturers don't build replicas. Since it's essentially a design copyright infringement, the companies making them tend to be smaller, have dramatically less quality control in their processes, and produce inconsistent products. I am sure people have found replica sets with absolutely no issues.
I think that's too much money for a set of replicas anyway. If you look here and over on www.5seriesforums.com, you're going to find someone selling OEM 167s (M6 wheels) for not too much more than that.

I have a set of M6 replica 19's on my 645 and I really wish I didnt buy them second hand.
Someone else above mentioned that you just dont know what your getting and I couldnt agree more. From my experience with these rep's, Ill NEVER buy used rims again. One was bent and cracked... and the other 3 were slightly bent. Theyr made of lesser quality materials so they bend easier. Theyll never be perfectly true and straight until I replace em with brand new ones! Theres enough dealers out there that you should be able to get a decent price on rep's anyway. Good luck!

I meant to include... If he's local, have him meet you at a local tire shop and have them balanced right there before you buy them.
The balance of all 4 should be somewhere around $40 bucks.
