Salesmen come on in. Looking for 2011 M3 cpe or 335is cpe
Hey guys.
I work at a high line dealership in NYC. I am looking for a deal to locate or order an M3 coupe or 335is coupe. I live in NJ and I'd do a deal closer to my house to establish a rapport with a local dealer if all prices were equal. I need some selling price quotes. I will give you MSRP, you give me your cost and selling price. I am not sure about doing a lease or a buy as of yet. But that doesnt matter much as the price will be the same for either. If a car's located can take delivery this month before the close. Looking for a deal guys. Not looking to sound like a prick but if anyone's thinking of a few bucks off msrp dont waste my time or yours. I will also do something nice.... "a gift" for whomever client advisor/manager does the deal for me to compensate for any lost commission. Deal will be peice of cake. Emaill me please. Please don't spam me with dealer auto responders or put me into your CRM systems until the deal is done. carguy19@comcast.net Thanks in advance fellas. |

Well Tyson he is a rare poster so I guess that makes him a newbie and maybe we should help him along. OP what Tyson is trying to tell you is that sponsors do not negotiate openly on the fest and they really are not supposed to solicit your business as it is against fest rules. What you are supposed to do is contact the sponsor directly via email, phone or PM and tell them you are interested in working with them. You should be starting the communication and not asking for them to get ahold of you. Also, the sponsors are here, but they are client advisors who have clients to advise and are not here 24/7. Some dont check in ever and just wait for people to reach out to them because of how the fest rules are set up. Now you are in Jersey so I have to say that I recommend you contact Ivan Romero at BMW of Bloomfield Hills. I have talked to him, never purchased, and he has always been an upfront and helpful guy. He is now a manager so that might make him even more willing/able to help you out. I personally buy my cars from Adrian Avila (who does long distance sales all the time) and, if you are not opposed to long distance sales, I personally suggest you contact him because I KNOW he will take care of you and give you a great price to boot. Adrian makes himself very accessable to fest members by phone or email and all contact information is in the site sponsor header. Good luck.

Condensed version of my original reply (I had quite a long one):
This won't be a quick and easy transaction; we can tell that and that's why no one has responded. You're openly asking a CA to do everything against company policy (skirting the CRM, kickbacks). As you claim to be in the industry; you obviously know how this business works and know what's required. If I took a kick back like you're so openly proposing - I'd lose my job and one skinny no profit car deal like you're offering isn't worth my livelihood. Why would any CA/SM take a slim car deal to have to deal with someone who doesn't want to give out their info, wants a "great" discount and is doing so many other things counter to how this process works? You're already making the process difficult and it hasn't even started.

One of the first things you learn in the biz is that the customer that walks in the showroom saying "WHO WANTS TO SELL A CAR TODAY?!" never buys a car. Similarly, the guy that promises to make a deal quick and easy almost always makes it very difficult and will undoubtedly call you all the time for status updates and will expect you to drop everything to take care of them. It's not worth the $100 or $150 commission.

Wow...I feel like I already know you having only read 2 posts of yours. Slicked back gelled hair, goatee or mustache, a few pieces of "jewelry" to "look sharp", thinks you're hilarious and the life of the party but are really just a boorish cheeseball. Unfortunately, there are plenty of cars sales guys in the NYC area like you. You must do real well in sales considering how you can't even sell someone on the idea of selling a car to you.

With the "tone" the OP has , even if he wanted to get 10 cars I would throw him out of the dealership.

I'm wondering why this 'high line' salesman (who tells some BMW owner that his line is something that owner could never afford to buy) is here trying to get a BMW in the first place, instead of his 'high line' car.
Too, considering the clarity with which he writes, and tone with which he writes, and the industry rules he wants someone to break, one has to wonder if he sells 'high line' cars, or 'high line' paint.

He is most likely a car wash man at a high line dealership... looking for a m3 for the price of 328.
