Mein Auto: 2006 BMW X5
New owner

Our first ever BMW car - 2006 BMW X5 3.0i Titanium Silver Metallic.

Just bought last night. 48K miles. premium package, xenon, panorama moonroof, dakota leather, hifi sound / dsp, cold weather package, bmw assist. $22,000 before taxes.
I hope we got a good deal, do you agree?

The only thing I noticed compared to other cars is how tight and firm the steering wheel during turning, is this normal? It takes more effort during slow turns at the parking lot, or at a city street corner. Otherwise, it's a pleasure to drive.

I'm still figuring out how to connect my samsung vibrant (android) phone to Bluetooth.
Would it play the music from my phone?

Congratulations....
Now when you bought it it doesnt matter how good of a deal it was - you got great car and enjoy it...
Yes as compared to other cars - X5 steering is very tight...and I like it.

first check if you have Bluetooth in your package....and if you do (likely there will be - you just need to pair you phones

Congrats on your X5 purchase. I too just bought 2006 X5 3.0 on July 3 ($19,995) with 80k miles. I also have a 1999 328i with 255k miles on it and still love to drive it. Yeah the steering is definitely stiffer than my 328i since you noticed it too I feel better. Planning on buying the Dice Mediabridge w/bluetooth. This way i can connect iPod and cell phone.
