Is Production running normal for X3 line

Are any parts for X3 production coming from affected area in northeastern japan that might cause delay? Now that I have my April slot i am antsi to get it!

Yea, well, I just put in an order for an F10 yesterday and I asked my CA the same thing. He told me not right now but wouldn't look me in the eye when he spoke so I'm not so sure.

In any case, I think the only people who know for sure aren't saying. It's understandable that we want answers but I think in this case we'll just have to wait. Regardless, it looks like you are going to have a much better chance at getting your car on time than I will.

I don't expect there to be any detectable delay in production. The Japanese are crazy serious about meeting obligations and will likely throw themselves into their work as soon as its safe to go back into the factories. There's a lot of hype on tv about productions stoppages, but it's just that. Hype. I lived in Japan and have the highest respect for the work ethic of the Japanese. They're going to get it done.

Dealership just emailed me

"The disaster in Japan will not affect your X3."

Mitsubishi manufactured the bi-twin turbo charger for the N54 engine, not sure if they are suppling the twin scroll for the N55 which is in the Xdrive 35.
