advice for a to be M5 owner!

hi. i just fell in love with the M5. was set on the cts-v, but now i want an M5...

i was wondering if theres any difference performance wise(ie. speed) between the different years (06-10) M5's? i know they all have the V10

would a 2010 M5 be faster than say, an 06 or 07? , provided they both had the same milage? or are they the exact same car.

im leaning towards an 09, (doubt ill be able to afford a '10), but im also open to an '08...

im also going to try to get one that has less than 25,000 miles. does taht sound like a wise/safe number?

any other advice?

Performance is the same from '05 to '10. Lower the miles the better although mine has done 47K. I would always advise trying to get one with a BMW warranty if possible.

And I have a question what made u change ur mind from ctsv to m5? I'm just wondering bc I see a lot of ppl argue about which one is better and stuff.

well i just put a down payment on a 2008 M5 SMG at a BMW dealership...

it only has 23,000 miles..

i never even bothered to go look at any cadillacs...??

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
it has aftermarket winter wheels/tires on at the moment, but the factory wheels are included also, i made sure...
it comes with the remainder of the 4 year warranty and, the BMW certified series warranty, which is like, 6 years or something... still lots of details im not sure on...

it was not an easy decision, hope i dont regret it.

it was 69,900. but canadian. up here there usually priced higher, even though the US dollar and CAN dollar are about the same... they just like ripping us off...

i really like it though...

already have an RPI gts exhaust and RPI ram air kit being installed next week

as well as a dinan stage 1tune, underdrive pulley, and eibach springs with 10mm spacers.
