Yeah, no kidding.

I don't get how (1) I placed my order before Mclane, (2) my vehicle finished production before Mclane and yet I'm still waiting on my vehicle.

Happy for the guy, but I'm not quite sure how that worked out that way.

Aha! That's the issue. I did not order a 50. I thought you had a 35 for some reason.

The phone track still states my car is in transit...

Joined you all waiting on completed vehicles, my 35 finished production today - 6 day build time, phone line says released to carrier...the internet update already changed today to show it at the prep center.....can't wait. Waiting on my CA to give me sense of delivery to NJ....made no mention to me of EPA issues.....figures.

I'm getting antsy. Requested a PCD for 5/6 or 5/13 and still no news. Booking airfare to Greenville is going to get expensive for me as the time runs down.

I hope this thread doesn't reach post #150 before cars get released!

Still trying to listen to my music trough BT, no luck. Using BMW Apps worked, one can hear several crappy webradios. I don't do facetube so thats useless. In retrospect, this may be quite useless. My expectation is for future developments.

I'm sure it can do music through BT, as I made it happen in both a 2011 X3 and X5, but it is not intuitive. Actually, my CA said he didn't think you could do it, since he had tried it before without luck. But, he let me play around for a few minutes and I figured it out. Like I said, it was not intuitive and I don't remember the option being where it probably should be, but it was definitely possible (with an iPhone 4) and worked perfectly once I had figured it out. Since it's been over a month, I don't remember how I did it. But, once my finally arrives (if the EPA every gets their act together), if you haven't figured it out, I'll tell you how to do it.

Very nice looking vehicle! I noticed you don't have the cold weather package, but then I also noticed the palm trees and general green around you, so you probably don't need it Like you, I also purchased BMW apps with the hope that they'll continually add things, as they say they will. It would be really nice if it would autostart the car, but the dealership gave me a nonsense answer on why that will never happen.

I found among the audio options audio BT, cell is paired, connected and even the BMW reference says it's feasible
My ca is no help, I'll figure it out eventually
No winter package here, we got a nasty 92 this weekend, my home is on AC for almost now...

None on my end. I still get the "released to carrier" message and there are no updates from my CA.

I am same exact status as elduderino....

For those ordering X5's, head up display (HUD) is a very interesting option to have. The windshield is too wide and the car gathers speed rather quickly and quietly. Today without noticing I found myself at 85 mph a couple of times. The perception brought from a much smaller and louder car (997) can trick one (me). Having the HUD in the view (and not seen by the wife ) kinda of helps until adaptation settles.

I just got an e-mail from my CA. He said he just got an update pop up telling him that my vehicle will be released on the 18th, and I'll have it no later than the 20th.
It's a couple weeks later than I had originally expected, but at least it doesn't seem to be in limbo anymore. Looking forward to this time next week!!

Things might be breaking free, I just got a PCD date of April 28th but I can't be down there then, so now lets see how fast they can ship it up here.

Seems pretty certain that they've released the hold, particularly since PCD is giving dates. My guess is that they now just have to deal with the backlog of cars that they've built up. I wish I had the car a week ago, but I suppose one more week isn't the end of the world in the grand scheme of things. I think it'll be worth it!

Woohoo! 2012 X5 35i's are definitely coming out of the pipeline now.

Just received email from PC thru my CA today that a reservation date has been offered for my MY 2012 X5 35i so this must mean the EPA/BMWNA approval has gone through and 2012 X5 35i's are being released.

PCD dates are tight as they only offered me 1 date and the alternative is to cancel PCD. Lucky for me the 5/13 they offered me is my 1st choice date!

Here's a paragraph from the email:

"Due to an overwhelming demand for
Performance Center Deliveries, we are completely booked and this is the only
available date that we can offer. We are only able to hold this tentative
delivery date for 48 business hours. This tentative delivery date may be
released and given to another client if we have not received a response from you
within two business days of the date of this email.

If your customer cannot
attend on this date, please complete and submit a Cancellation Form which can be
found on BMW CENTERNET."

Spoke with Jonathan at BMW Performance Center today who told me my 35 sport ordered on 03-05-11 was released today with a PCD date of 04-29-11! Finally some news. Hey Roswell, I see your date of 04-28-11. When did you place your order? Trying to figure out how my PCD date was assigned. Would actually prefer an earlier date.

3/9... I canceled last night so maybe the 28th has an open slot now?

I had only a narrow opening of dates and can't make it down to SC now.

I ordered at the end of February. Production was completed on 3/31. And my CA is still telling me I haven't been assigned a truck.

Good news is he says it usually only takes 3 days to get here once assigned a truck.

Just got off the phone with CA,

Our 2012 35i was actually on the train on April 7th to LA with ETA 22nd.

the production started on 3/31 and finished on April 6th, so the car was on the train next day of prodution completion date, it appears there is no EPA holding on our car, strange? but good indeed

CA estimated the car should be in Seattle at the end of the month.
