Dual Vanos Repair Results: share your experience

What are some of the things you've experienced after installing a new VANOS system?

I did not have the MAF or the air cabin filter completely installed. Tonight I was only checking to see if the engine would turn over.

during this project, I installed a new DISA valve, new intake and exhaust cam sensors, new Spark plugs (NGK), new VANOS seals and a Dual Vanos unit from Dr. Vanos, and a new AC belt.

What? You checked if the VANOS was installed correctly?

Before putting the cover, the fan, and the MAF back together, which I wasn't going to have time to do, I asked the mechanic if it would be ok to turn the engine on to see if there was any rattle and if I put everything back together correctly. There was no rattle and the engine turned on.

I'm working at an auto hobby shop. I have a bay and tools. The only inconvenience is that they close at 730.
