Found a Windscreen on ebay.

I know some of you are thinking about getting one. This one is pre-owned, but relatively inexpensive.

I knew even the BIN was a good deal and was willing to secure it ASAP. I could have held out for bidding and waiting, then hope no one else bids it up. It is always a crapshoot. If the BIN price had been higher and not a good deal I would have bid it out...

An added benefit of the screen is that stuff in the back won't cyclone it's way out of the car. My wife will leave sweaters or light coats that she puts in the back. I forget about them and get up to 60 mph with top down and all of a sudden I feel something hitting me in the face as it whips around in the back seat...on it's way out the car. I then have to scramble to grab stuff from the back.

It will be money well spent and sounds like a very good deal (I got mine tossed in with the deal by the dealer, but the parts department was quoting me over $500 for it)

I have one for sale in mint condition if someone is interested. I got is at Christmas as a gift but just sold my car last month. It comes with the OEM case and instructions as well.

Alright so I jumped on the bandwagon and got this windscreen. I got it for $280, not a bad price either.


It better be all that and a bag of chips!

You will like it and get some good use out of it. However, despite the windscreen's ability to allow me to drop the top anytime b/n 50 and 90 degrees F, I reached the max point yesterday where the heat forced me to put the top up - driving home at around 5:30 pm, sunny and humid, car gauge said 102 - couldn't take it and had to put the top up while rolling in stop-n-go traffic.

I hear you! There are limits to the amount of heat and sun I can take. Even with a windscreen.

yeah, and down in tampa/st. pete you probably hit the limit a month or two ago.

I put it down typically when I am driving by myself. I love having the wind around me. Since the windscreen is on a hinge it is easy to pop up and down without removal. So on a Saturday as I am cruising around with the top down I leave it down when my wife and I go out. We put up the windscreen and the side windows and she doesn't have to worry about being a mess when we arrive at our destination.

One side benefit is that items in the back seat or back footwell don't cyclone out of the car when the top is down.
