Just picked my '08 850 Convertible on Wednesday. Coming from an Escalade, so it's a pretty big difference. Last vert was a Mustang about 10 years ago, but I had a screen in that, and am looking for one now.

Can anyone attest to the quality of such a product? 600+ from the dealer is a bit much, and the salesman told me to check on line as you can usually find OEM deflectors for about half that.

Based on those pictures that is an OEM BMW wind deflector. Go for it.

Welcome! That is an OEM deflector and that is a good price. I'm on my 4th convertible and haven't been without one. In specific to the quality of the 6 OEM deflector, I'm using the same one from my previous car (a 645 vert) so mine is about 4 years old and going strong.

Assuming I close on the new sled on Thursday we can certainly meet up etc - I'm having fun with the local BMW dealers, they seem to be very flexible on pricing !

I found another BUT I'm going to put it in the "too good to be true" category. It's currently at $95, BUT... it doesn't look like the OEM BMW e64 windscreen.

So if someone can figure out whether there is another windscreen that fits our car, etc... please post.
