Catless down pipe

Hey guys. So tomorrow I'm getting my OEM exhaust modded by taking out the cat and making it a straight pipe, adding a catless down pipe, and a jb4 tune. My question is will my car pass inspection? I know it wouldn't pass a visual inspection but I highly doubt my shop does that. Thanks!

It most likely will not pass the emissions inspection.

No, you'd need a DP fix to trick the DME into seeing an acceptable signal from the O2 sensor. The JB4 auto code-clearing function is not the same thing.

Until now there hasn't been a DP fix available for the N55, but you can read here about BMS currently beta-testing one. If you eventually add the DP fix and pass the OBDII inspection, there's a chance that your shop won't lift the car for visual inspection. If it does lift the car, you'll likely fail the inspection.
