Bluetooth and Audio for 2006 Z4

I just purchased a 2006 Z4 3.0 si, first of all I love this car, I have my Iphone paired to it, but is there a way to use Audio.

Ok, now i understand that I will need to either equip an audio input in the ashtray or a usb connection wired from radio to glove box. I'm going to opt for the audio input.

Yep you need an AUX input, you can get the input with the ashtray or you can get the cheaper cable for the e46 and just route it to the panel under the A/C controls like it is in the 2007/8 Z4's

So this cheaper cable for the e46 will work with the Z4? And is this panel accessible without tearing the radio or dash components out?
