Has anyone installed or had these clear plastic shields put on a new or recently painted front fascia. We are getting the front and hood repainted. (handicap sign was broken off and fell on the hood and front fascia). With the new paint I want to install the protective film. How long should I wait after the new paint. (this means parking the car while the front end drys).
Thanks |

This is the first thing I added when I got the car. If you don't want to have the front end look like buckshot, get it. The car is very low to the ground and will get wacked much faster. I had the headlights and mirrors covered too. Saved me a new head lamp as something big hit the plastic and put a gouge in it. I already got wacked by a large rock and had to replace my winshield in less than 8000 miles. Get the 3M film as the best and a good installer will make all the difference in the world. Front end still looks brand new!
