DC Metro Area

Anyone in the tristate area planning on making the trip and wanna meet up and ride down together? Not that it's far from here in the first place, but would be nice to make the trip down.

Hey there -- I'm trying to organize some friends, happy to keep you informed. I'm in Alexandria.

I wouldn't mind riding along. I'm 20ish so minutes outside of DC, Fairfax area.

Will be going up from Howard Co. Maybe we can have a progressive caravan...

So we should just come up with a couple of stops to have people meet up along the way. As the date gets closer we should start to figure it out.

I would suggest somewhere in North Arlington, maybe Velocity 5 by the courthouse. That way all the people coming up from the south could meet before heading north towards Baltimore and then maybe meet somewhere between DC and Baltimore for the Md people.

Just a thought

Thats what I was thinking. I would be part of the DC/MD crowd. So would have to plan accordingly. Would have to figure out a driving route too, to see what is more convenient for the majority.

Ok only a month away. Any other suggestions on were to meet?

What route will you Va. guys be taking? BW Pkwy? Int 97? Int 95?

I could be down for meeting up. I'm in Rockville. Not sure that I want to head south only to head north again though.

I would think BW parkway but not sure what everyone else from the south would want to take.

I think we should meet somewhere in Arlington/ Alexandria, cross over either the 14th street bridge or Woodrow Wilson and then maybe meet up with some of the people from Maryland off of 95 or 295.

Count me in. Honestly might not even stay for all of Bimmerfest. I just think it'll be fun to drive down with you guys. May stay for a bit, then just turn around and head home. Been looking to take a nice ride somewhere. This will be as good as any.

Hey guys, I have posted up threads on 6Speedonline, M5 Board and Luxury4Play about riding up together. I decided to check here today and found this thread. I would be interested in meeting everyone in the DC/VA area to ride up then to the MD meeting spot.

What is the actual time and location for the VA people to meet? Is the Tyson location the only VA meet?

I am currently in Ashburn, VA so I just want to make sure I know the closest location to drive to.
