Window problem relay vs switch?

Hi everybody

I have been having a problem with my driver side window. During the winter when the car was frozen I tried to pull down the window and since then the window has been stuck. I have been doing research and some of the information made thing that the window regulator was the problem, However when I check the door panel, the motor elevator is spinning in only one way even if I push or press the switch.
I read that this could be a relay problem if this is the problem. How do I fixed?

Thank you

My car is a 2003 bmw 325i

I would bet it's a window regulator problem, not a motor or switch. When the cable, carrier, guide, or pulley breaks the motor doesn't do what you want it to do. Take the door panel off and see if the regulator assembly is intact. It's also possible that your motor or gears are bad, but check the regulator first; it's a known weak point. They're not hard to replace.

I already check the regulator and is fine. The problem is that the motor only apins one way. I have been reading many sites and they mention the relay and the switch as possible problems.

So pull out the switch and change it with another.
