Reliability of 335xi 08
Wanted to find out how is the reliability has been after the warrenty with doing the maintenance.
Didnt extended my warrenty so will be paying for maintenance out of pocket. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Bimmer App |

My water pump failed 4 months outside of the standard 4 year warranty.

Learn to do all the work yourself
buy a good set of sockets a torque wrench, jack stands, low profile jack. Bentley book and you be great.

Likely you'll have problems but should be under ~$1,000/year unless you are unlucky. Few get seems to get away with no repairs but it's not like they have issues every other week.

You're approaching the end of a batteries typical service life. However the car will warn you when the battery is low. If you're not receiving the warning or experiencing any problems with it then I wouldn't change it. Once the warning appears you can give it a charge. If it comes back shortly after that then it's time for a new one.
