Unhappy Battery

Hello all,

I just put in a brand new battery and everything was checked at the time (alternator etc). I just went to start it because I have not driven it a couple of weeks and it won't start. Shouldn't happen right especially if all electrical was checked at the time the battery was installed?

Simplest explanation is that the new battery was not fully charged when it was put in the car. I'd charge it up and see what happens.

What do you mean "it will not start"?

we need an exact description of what happens from when you put in the key to what happens when you turn it. Does engine spin and not start? does it sit there dark with nothing? what exactly happens?

Parasitic draw,

something is remaining on thru out the night and killed the battery...

This; if it can happen overnight, can definitely happen over a few weeks. Likely, whatever killed your last battery.
