The Nikon AF-S 300mm f2.8 is an amazing lens. Just a crop (in red) from a picture (D700, 1/640 sec, ISO 200, f2.8) I took from the sideline across the football field to the seats at the top of the stadium. I'm sure I could do better using f5.6 instead of f2.8. The kid in the gray NY baseball cap sitting behind redneck is my exchange student. What was he thinking? Taking a couple of shots of the student section is my tradition so the kids can tag themselves in facebook http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=3&theater. The students normally have their own section, but this Saturday playoff game not too many showed up, probably because we played a weak seeded team. I'm the unofficial sports photographer for the HS.
 OK, this neutral stadium for this playoff game is NOT up to TX standards. The finals will be played in Cowboys Stadium in Dallas. Original image Cropped Location of the photo
