New CCV installed. Much easier with the OFH and Alternator out of the way:

No pictures, but I also cleaned the Idle Control Valve while I was in there.

why didn't you do the CCV delete? the success rate of the delete and bypass is higher than the replacement CCV.
I bypassed mine with a catch can and couldn't be happier with the results.

I actually will be doing that at some point. I have a catch can as well, but didn't have the necessary ancillary fittings. So I decided to install the CCV that I have bought many moons ago for the interim.

I know it's doubling the work, in a respect, but considering the fact that the hose running from the bottom of the old CCV to the dipstick tube was severed in half, I thought it sufficient to do the swap.

Will do the bypass soon enough, my friend!

When I fit the Catch Can, I'll probably leave the CCV in place.

Omg!!! I've never wanted a carbon fiber part that no one will see so bad before. In my life!!! Do they have one for the 528i? You're in the 530i?

I had difficulty getting the PWM controller to work with the Zionsville supplied temperature switch, so I wired it up via a SPAL single-relay wiring kit. Fan currently turns on at 97 degrees.

I'm too horrible at google right now to find it. I'll look tomorrow. It looks amazing. I've got a different intake manifold. I'll also have to do some. Googling apparently there is a turbo manifold floating around somewhere I wanna check out.

Reinstalled the front bumper this afternoon and buttoned everything up. Took the old girl out for a 40 mile shakedown....no problems other than some previously leaked oil burning off of the exhaust manifold.... going to wash her tomorrow and take some quality pictures.
