Introduction to my newish 530i...

Well I figure with my stock 17" style 19's I shouldn't have too many rubbing issues, but I will definitely measure before I buy.

The car looks a lot better...! Just needs more low for those wheels IMO...

Also note, that spacers and the powder-coated black lugs can be found from Turner Motorsports, ECS Tuning, and/or www.EACEuroParts.com .

Excellent Link there... lots of good info regarding spacers. I would have preferred a nce name brand like H&R or Eibach, but the fact that they all use the same T-6061 Aluminum as the spacer that I bought gives me some confidence.

In addition, I've used spacers from this seller on my E46 and a Jeep Patriot (don't ask )...so I feel secure with the quality.

Keep in mind ....always measure the gap between the inner fender lip and the outer edge of your tire to determine how thick a spacer you can fit. I had about 16mm of space in the rear and and 17mm in the front. The 15mm spacers have brought me very close to inner lip of the fender. In fact I did notice two instances of fender rub in the rear. The 265 tires are part of the visual problem. If you look at the front versus the rear...you can see that the rear tire looks like a "block". The sidewalls actually have to curve inward in order to have the beads seat on the wheel. Another side effect of this a central "bowing" of the tread..it causes enhanced wear at the center of the tire. A proper tire size will improve asthetics, longevity and maybe even some handling performance.

As Jason suggested, I may have to invest in some coilovers :-)

Well...i noticed that I had a major brain fart. I'm not running a 265 tire in the back....i'm running a 275!

Can't believe I forgot that.

Any way... I'm going to play around with different spacer sizes to get to where I need in the rear (just ordered some 5mm spacers). I'm going to replace with better tires when this set wears out.
