Nope... you just attach the polisher to your favorite drill, apply the PlastX to the lens and start buffing. Put a little elbow grease into it and they look great. I am very happy with this product. Will be using this on my other cars as necessary.

That is interesting that you were able to get that clean of a finish with just polishing/ no sanding...

It looked like your headlights were heavily pitted in the "before" pictures...

It was more like "sand blasted" little tiny granules stuck to the lens covers. The Clay bar got rid of a good deal of the residue and the Meguiar's kit did the rest. I am going to do it again and then put some Lamin-X on it to protect the covers from this kind of treatment in the future.

Unfortunatley my trip to work involves a 45 minute drive through the desert. Not good for paint or plastic.

I've been off of my feet for the last two weeks after some minor surgery, so haven't had an opportunity to work on the car much less drive it. In anticipation of getting back on the road next week to return to work, I had my local indy install the rear rotors (which have been sitting in the garage waiting for me to get around to them) as well as EBC Ultimax brake pad at all four corners. I just felt the Powerstep Ceramic pads I had previously just lacked the level of bite my driving style requires. He also performed a brake fluid flush for while he was in there.

In addition I had new Nankang NS-II's sized 245/40/18 installed in the rear to replace the worn and rubbing 275/35/18's.

Pedal feel is greatly improved...I wish I could have done this work myself, but it's going to be at least a month before I can turn a wrench or lift anything heavy.

Decided I had enough of the crooked tips on the OBX muffler that i've been running for a few months....had a local shop install a Magnaflow 14816:







Wash and wax soon and then some really spiffy pics....

If you don't mind me asking, how much that system out the door?

I bought the Muffler from a seller on eBay...he listed it for $200, but accepted my offer of $150.00.

How much was the install?

$75.00

I really need to learn how to weld...with the right equipment, I could have definitely done this myself.

That's not bad at all. Know any good tint guys in so cal?

Albo - Looks great/clean! I am assuming currently those rears are 245/40R18 like you’ve mentioned before & a square setup?

Also what made you switch to MF? The OBX one couldn’t get realigned?

Yup...245/40/18 all around. The obx's tips seemed to be too far off ....but to be honest I didn't explore getting them straightened. I was exploring exhaust options for another car and came across this great deal on the 14816.

On the plus side....and I expected this... The manga flow has a more aggressive exhaust note. Me likey! Not the cheapest thing to do, but I'm happy.
