If I could do it behind a mask, and under a pseudo-name I so would do it.
I would even ask BJ to provide me with some choice quotes

That would be the easy part. There is a whole encyclopedia of them in the seminal Status Kills thread.

At the end of each show, the following disclaimer appears:
Both the plaintiff and the defendant have been paid from a fund for their appearance. The amount, if any, awarded in the case, is deducted from this fund, and the remainder is divided equally between both litigants. The amount of the fund is dependent on the size of the judgment.

But here is your chance to get 'noticed' and launch your career in entertainment! Especially if you could channel BJ.

The contract they sent was pretty simple (6 bullet points, large font). Basically it said if you win, you get paid - even if the defendant refuses to pay. If you lose you get $250. I'd imagine the defendant would counter sue me, because it makes good tv. Probably along the lines of "he prevented me from getting my donuts"

Only BJ can channel BJ. No imitations allowed

Yup, that was back when we couldn't wait to log back on, before the ban-threat-wit-lobotomy, before he transmogrified into BoltjaM3s, and before 'E9x' went on life support.

You just lost an opportunity for me saying.... "Furby ..Will you sign my boobs, please!???"

How come nobody ever crashes into my car when I need them to? Gia, when furbish reads your post his whole life is going to flash before his eyes.

(Gia, a few questions. I live in NH and we don't do a lot of boob signing up here. Not with the chance of frostbite and all. Anyway, since this subforum is on life support I figure there's one subject and only one that can revive it and that's boobs. I realize that that is almost too easy but with all the 17 year old owners of secondary market E9x's purchased with Bar Mitzvah money running around, let's go for the sure thing.
Is boob signing commonplace where you live? How is it done? On skin, or like, on a shirt? With Magic Marker or what? Is skin to skin contact allowed or is that out of line? If it is allowed, how long does the signer have to sign, is 10 minutes considered too long? If an error is made in spelling, quite possible given the circumstances, does the signer just rub it out and go on, or what? If your name has an 'i' in it, like Bill for instance, can you get creative with the dot over the 'i'? Or if your name is Tom can you be even more creative?
I only ask because I don't know much about boob signing, nothing in fact. Furby might, he lives in Philadelphia. I don't want to repeat a major gaffe I made at my first hot tub party.)

Furballs Charity Challenge

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to shoot everyone some happy news with regards to the VSO charity challenge that I started recently.

As of today I have reached 20% of my charity challenge!! I want to thank the Bimmerfest members who have generously donated to this cause. It is really exciting that people who I know personally (and those that I do not) through a web forum are willing to help out!

For those that are considering to donate, please do so. This part of my trip is long and every little bit helps. The donation site is http://www.justgiving.com/ClimbToTheSky
All donations are tax deductible.

For those Bimmerfesters who are local to Philadelphia (or will be in Philadelphia), I have secured a slot at The Bards on 2113 Walnut Street on Friday, March 30 from 6-8PM for a Happy Hour. At this Happy Hour The Bards has been kind enough to donate proceeds from their drinks. I will also be raffling off gift certificates, 50/50 raffle, gift baskets, and a Kindle Fire!!!! So if you are around Philadelphia come on out to meet your fellow Furball, and help out a charity!

Warm Regards

Furball

Don't do that, don't ask for that. Letting the goat lover in the door is like letting your dead-beat significant others illegal immigrant brother into your house...The charm wears out after 5 minutes, and once in....he will never leave!

Winter Autocross

The Lime Rock Drivers Club held a Winter Autocross on Feb 11th.

There was no snow on the ground so it was more of a Cold Weather Autocross.

This is a video of last years event.

^^^ How much of a time handicap did the AWD cars get? An autocross in the snow on a bright sunny day might be the only thing I would care to do in the white stuff. No offense to anyone who is a fan of snow....

There were no hadicaps. Besides a wide range of capability of the cars there was a wide range of capabilities of the drivers ranging from rank amateurs (i.e. me) to drivers who had won national championships, won the Twelve Hours of Sebring, competed at LeMans,F1, the Daytona 24 Hour and the Indy 500 etc. The Spec Miatas from SCDA had studded tires and were as fast as the AWD cars (but the pros were driving them so that may not be a fair comparison).

There are two permanent autocross courses at Lime Rock (no cones in a parking lot). For this event the two were combined and we were going counterclockwise.
