The GTS comes with a bored out 4.4L V8 instead of the 4.0L, right? How does he like it as a track car? It's still pretty porky and dials in a lot of understeer initially and then snap oversteer, from what I've read.

I haven't really talked to him about it but I heard that the car had a lot of problems.

I saw a Lime Rock Special Edition M3 that arrived today at my local dealership while I had my wife's 535xi in for service. I really love the color and the carbon fiber pieces on the exterior. It also had an extended leather package and DCT. Sticker had not been put on the car as yet but the salesman said it was listing at over $84,000 (they are going to try a sticker plus market price). He said the car had a limited edition run of 200 units and was trying to sell me that it would only go up in value as a collector piece. I'm not sure about that, but I was disappointed that it did not have finished brake calipers.

They also had a new X5 on the showroom in Valencia Orange. This color looks very interesting and may look great in the sun.

There will very likely be one at Lime Rock on the 27th. One of the club members ordered one and she had probably taken delivery by now.

Ours stickers at $81,000 and is sitting on the showroom floor. They added a clear bra to it and tacked that onto the MSRP.
