We were probably watching movies, using the PS3, which was why I appeared "logged in." I never shy away from a good game with his "camping" highness and a bunch of other adolescents.

There were 25 Cunningham C5 Vignale road cars built in the early 1950s, 20 Coupes and 5 Convertibles. I visited Don Breslauer's shop in Salisbury, CT yesterday. There were 2 Cunningham C5 Coupes and 2 Convertibles in the garage. I will post some pictures later tonight.

Stupidest things I have done:

1. There's no way I'm posting that one on the Interwebz.
2. It would take too long to explain ('twas not so much a single event as a protracted state of idiocy).
3. Waited until after the warranty expired to eliminate the lock valve (CDV).

In a release received Monday from Lime Rock Park, the track has announced plans to host a Formula One event. The release is as follows:
In a surprise announcement, F1 major domo Bernie Ecclestone told reporters that he's made a deal with Lime Rock Park owner Skip Barber to bring the F1 circus to Connecticut's 1.5-mile, nine-turn road course, starting in 2017. A date has not been set, and the FIA World Council must still approve the expanded schedule, “But that's simply a formality,” Ecclestone said.

“I met Skip in Monaco back in the mid-70s, when I was running Brabham and Max [Mosely] was trying to stick Skip into that crap-can March,” Ecclestone said. “When I heard from one of my many minions that America's New England region didn't have an F1 race, well, I was shocked. So I rang up Skip.”
Ecclestone, who had gathered 241 racing reporters around his feet inside his quaint $650 million cabin in Askwith, Worchestershire-on-Gloucestershire-no-thanks-to-Shropshire, England, also revealed that Formula One Management will not charge Lime Rock Park the normal one-year rights fee of $21 billion. “Instead, Skip's going to buy me dinner at Mizza's Pizza -- and he has to change the oil in one of my Range Rovers,” Ecclestone said.

On the other side of the Atlantic, Barber said, “As much as I would like an F1 race at Lime Rock, my handshake agreement with Bernie does not include an oil change. We're still negotiating. I think rotating the Hankooks on his Wolseley 16/60 is sufficient, really.”

Because of this groundbreakingly different business case, Barber said he will set ticket prices accordingly.

“I'm thinking $12.50, plus the 10 percent Connecticut Amusement-Admission Tax, for a three-day pass,” Barber said.

Ecclestone was quoted further as saying, “I am also very excited to bring my 75-meter motorhome, Helga's Revenge, to the infamous Lime Rock infield camping area for the Formula One race. I personally love the painfully passé 'No Fear' bumper stickers you see on the campers. I mean, literally, they're stuck to their arses. As well, the plush pigs along the camping area's roadsides really do make me feel at home. Well, at least one or two of them.”

Without cheating, take a guess what this product is to win such a rave review.

My husband hated his ** and has tried every ** on the market. I bought this for him for Christmas, but decided to give it to him early. He loved it from the beginning, but then saw that one of the Indy 500 drivers had one. Now, all he does is brag about it and all his friends have them. He absolutely loves it, no longer has back problems, and the entire family is happy. Hard to believe that something so simple can make the whole family happy. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!

So again, no cheating. Can anyone guess what product it is that would make the entire family happy, and everyones friends want to have it?

I have been eyeing up this product for a while and just got it. It's OK looking, the pictures looked way better

Better late than never!

I'm glad I had the little malignant piece of technology in place when I first got the car and infrequent MT drivers (like my boss) wanted to give it a spin.

However, after I got past that phase getting rid of it is probably going to prolong the life of my clutch.

This miracle item, the one that makes the entire family happy. That an indy 500 driver uses (that is not announced) and that all her husbands friends got....

Hammacher Carbon Fiber Money Clip.

Now I've heard stories where people complain their fat wallets, in the back pocket, ends up hurting their backs. My answer, stick it in your front pocket (helps prevent pick pockets) or maybe keep less in your wallet. But I've never heard of a money clip making the entire family happy. That was a paid post if I ever saw one. I almost didn't buy it because.

So I got the money clip and it's OK. The pictures really don't help.

1) The money clip and card holder are not integrated with each other. The money clip holds the card holder by clipping around it, like the money
2) You get an option of a cloth card holder and "leather" card holder.
3) The card holder easily holds up to 6 cards
4) The carbon fiber portion looks good, but the rest...meh

Is this worth the $160 I paid...probably not. If I would have seen it in store, I probably would not have bought it. But I have always been picky about my money clips, they always break (actually I had one that got stolen, and was awesome but not sure where to get it). Hopefully this one won't break - but it does have lifetime warranty

Thousands of cars, bikes and trucks will converge at Lime Rock racetrack next weekend to benefit those who were affected by last year's Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting. But this isn't just a local event, as more than 2,800 riders will be traveling to the event in convoys from as far away as Texas to support the cause.

George "Spikes" LeGrice, of Massachusetts, is credited with organizing the event that all started coming together after LeGrice launched a Facebook page (Spikes Ride for Sandy Hook) to bring attention to his cause. Word traveled quickly, as motoring enthusiasts were eager to help those in need while enjoying a car show, live music, a drifting exhibition, a motorcycle stunt show and an Eastern Motor Racing Association track event at the end of the ride.

Proceeds from the event (cars/bikes are $15, trucks are $10 and general admission is $5) will benefit:

• EverWonder Children's Museum – A children's museum planned for Newtown with the goal of helping area children challenge their minds in an informal, fun environment.
• Sandy Hook Family Healing Fund – Started by parents in Newtown, the fund assists the survivors from the two classrooms where the shootings took place.
• Adopt A Sandy Hook Cop – Started by Mother's Embrace Yoga, the fund supports the officers of the Newtown Police Department, some of the first responders.

The show, held in both the infield and outfield, is set for 10 am to 6 pm April 13 at Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. Those who would like to participate are encouraged to visit the event's Facebook page.

I always filed as soon as possible (once all the documents arrived). I lol'd this year at my State return of a whopping $15!

File Saturday. Unfortunately I get money back. Now to raise withholding to ensure I get more money each paycheck. Plotting what to do with pending refund.....car is only 1.5 years old, so no need for new one. Maybe fancy duds for CTC5?

I wanted rebreather. The Roommate (TM) tells me I can have rebreather when she gets new staircase railing. That is hardly fair!

On a side note, I always claim zero. Take more incremental amounts during each paycheck, and give me a bigger return.
