When the E93 335i eventually passes away, (y'all saw what I did there right?) a potential candidate is the CTS-V Coupe. Have you driven it yet or the Coupe 3.6DI? If you did, please post the link.

Well, here's the thing. Finding an off topic post in the off topic forum isn't all that easy - all forums' OT posts go there.

A forum specific OT thread area/sub-forum might be good. EZ to implement. Try?

Not going to happen. We already have an "OT Forum" on the site. For now, you E9x-folk will have to tolerate one huge eclectic thread.

I drove the CTS-V Wagon (and Coupe, but it isn't in the story) at Laguna Seca in November:

If you can get past the interior (GM-ish), the mechanicals and underpinnings are superb. It is a great driver's car, in either transmission (I prefer the 6MT). Collectors... go grab a 6MT Wagon (very limited and rare).

I was supposed to, but some auto-journalist-dickhead crashed it before it was my turn. Same thing with the Shelby GT500, some auto-journalist-bonehead blew up the transmission in two different occasions — I've still never driven it. American muscle cars seem to avoid me.

If I total a press car, it costs me nothing. Well, it may cost me my job.

It is best not to damage vehicles in my line of work. If you get a reputation of being kind to press vehicles (keeping them clean and unscathed), you will be fed nice cars... If you are "that guy," your loan schedule will likely include a lot of Scions and Smart cars. I have always treated press cars like they are my own (that said, I have a '11 Audi TT coming tomorrow and a '12 Bentley Continental GT coming in a couple weeks).

Just a point of clarity. You have "schnell Autos" listed as your car. Assuming you mean fast cars (plural), the proper adjective ending is "schnelle Autos". Thought you would like to know
