I am currently staying in hotel room 335... I asked the receptionist if I will go into limp mode during the night...judging by the look she gave me, she wasn't a BMW fan!

Speaking of iOS apps.... Does anyone have experience with the Comcast iOS app? Supposedly it allows you to access Comcast content that is streamed over the Internets. So, theoretically speaking, if you have a sufficiently fast Internets connection, one could take the streamed content and not have to do the overnight download thang.

Soooo... does anyone have experience with the Comcast iOS app?

What happens if your HBO content is provied by a third party (like Comcast)? How do you get access to the HBO content through the HBO app? Buying a second subscription would seem to be like paying twice for the same thing.

I think the only way you can subscribe to HBO is through a provider so..

Mine is through Direct Tv as well, you just put in that account info or whatever your log-in is for your provider

Uhm....yes. Like, people that don't watch that much TV, for example. If there was an a la carte menu on DirecTV I might only end up subscribing to about 10 channels.

Sometimes it's all about the pure guess. I was surprised that Tarzan was considered a word and not a name, but I saw the letter combination and gave it a shot.

Speaking of phones, what are people's experiences with Swype? Like it, hate it?

I'm a smartphone neophyte.

I'm a smartphone neophyte.
Once I got accustomed to using Swype, going back to the ole iPod Touch and trying to enter text has gotten annoying. Swiping that keyboard yields poor results.

In short, I like it but I'm not convinced it is a faster entry method, just one that yields less typos. Though, Apple actually has a nice auto correction algorithm that Swype cannot match; it truly does take care of most typos due to keyboard inaccuracies.

Those two wouldn't be on there. To be honest, I am not sure if I would even end up with 10. Only channel on these days is Versus to watch NHL playoffs and the local channel for weather related warnings. Once hockey is over, the weekend usually only sees NFL Sunday Ticket on the tube...what am I missing on TV these days?!?

EDIT: OK, I record F1 on Speed...one more channel it is.

(It's a text input method that ships with the phone I'm thinking of getting.)
