Those over in E36 deemed this appropriate, I'm sure you'll all agree

I don't know what happened, but after seeing this i'm not so hesitant about liking the new generation. Can't wait to see what they do with the M3.

Most mountaineers that get killed, get killed on the way down. They have achieved their goal, drop their guard and make a "concentration" mistake. Now is the time to be more vigilant.

It's not "we win", it's "we're winning"... if al-Quaeda did the same to us, would we just curl up in a ball and disappear?

I completely agree, but still we have metaphorically "cut the head off the snake".

That snake has a sh!tload of heads. Sure, we got the big one. It's a feel good story and for people who lost loved ones, it provides some closure.

We killed him and they jacked up security levels here in the US? Go figure. That snake is still very much alive and kicking.

I do agree that we have quite a ways to go, however I feel that none of the other Taliban, or Al Queda leaders are as charismatic, or financially well off as Bin Laden was. So I believe it was not only a moral blow, but it put a dent in their funding as well. Someone was speaking in regards to the kill yesterday. They pretty much said that there had been some dissent amongst the ranks of Al Queda recently, and they thought that eliminating such a powerful icon might sort of de-motivate the less extreme members. Take it for what you will, but I think they're all batsh** crazy anyway. No matter how extreme they are.

I have no doubts that some people will still try to unite and retaliate, but I also have full faith in our Armed Forces.

We delivered a heavy blow. They will lose money, is leadership, and his brand-name (though that will be replaced by martyrdom). Some people may think twice about fighting now (e.g. they got him, they can definitely get me). The war is not over, but it's a good accomplishment we hit this week

LOL. Supposedly. In highschool I knew this kid who looked up at the sky and got pooped right in the mouth.

That stupid bird was hanging off the roof of a 10 story building. When the "stuff" hit the ground I'm pretty sure it was close to terminal velocity. *Splat*. Two feet to the right and I would have been drenched.
