The rest of that video shows her friends coming over to her. She was apparently able to slightly turn her head at the last millisecond so the melon got her toward the hard parts. Can't say for sure but she wasn't screaming holding her eye area in the final frames. Regardless, no doubt she had one hell of a colorful bruise, and everyone had to wear full face helmets from that point on.

Yeah, The Amazing Race from last year. She was gunshy on every challenge from then on. The show got a tremendous amount of use from that clip - it showed up a lot when the team was deciding who would do what.

If there's anyone who watches Home Shopping Network, her name is Claire Champlin. She's is (was?) a host on the network.

It was a hell of a hit. One of the production medical people checked her out to make sure she wasn't severely injured. Then, they made her finish the challenge, headache and all.

Nothing this morning, but the day isn't over. Wife saw a F360 yesterday - "our" mechanic went to work on a customer's car after he finished diagnosing the wifey's ride for an "Engine Service" light.

Saw a Ford GT at 5:00am on my way to work. A close friend's father recently purchased a pre-owned LP640. In the past year he's bought the Lamborghini, a Modena, a 911 Turbo and a few other toys. He's getting ready for retirement as a bachelor.

None today but I did see a (550 or 575M) Maranello this past Sunday. Can't be certain which one, as we were headed in opposite directions on an Interstate with a wide median. It was definitely red, though!

Yea those are neat too, seen a few and one not too long ago. I want to see the TT ones though haha, crazy. Mehh, pre-ownled Lp640 alright but unless that Turbo is a 997.2, collection is just cool.

Saw a Lambo Murcialigo(sp?), bright yellow, and a Ferrari Maranello, red, on the way home from Regensburg on Sun. Ironically, they drove the same way I would, slow...so everyone can get an eyefull.

No Ferraris, but on the way home, did come up on a Maserati Quattroporte (Bordeaux Pontevecchio over Cuoio) before he turned unto the I-15N. I forgot how big these cars were...and how much more elegant looking over the Panamera.
