We completed the process and received our credentials for the global entry program 2 months ago.... A questionaire, an interview....

Worked like a dream when we came back from Taipei a month ago.

Try getting one with a firearms endorsement.
How far did you have to go for your interview. For me, 10 hours to upstate NY, way upstate.

Pretty broad generalization there, Furball. The way I read it is there are quite a few men who didn't pass the test either and a lot of them are in your neck of the woods.

Reports and studies also show that men tend to spend more time behind the wheel than women, which increases their likelihood of being involved in car crashes.

Since there are more male drivers (and more male drivers are likely to drive drunk), the statistics are difficult to interpret (difficult to obey traffic laws when you're smashed).

Still not sure what to do for a steady yellow light. The European system of lights is much better IMO.

Just saying that because 27% of the women responding to the survey failed doesn't condemn the entire gender as drivers.

I happen to agree with you about the european signal lights.. I like the "rev it up" signal lights.

What is really funny to me is being in Italy and listening to all the Vespas chomping at the bit for the light to change.

The most basic statistics makes this easy.

1000 men drive, 200 men do stupid driving things - 20% of men suck at driving

500 women drive, 250 women do stupid driving things - 50% of women suck at driving

So the NHTSA can easily do a percentage calculation to figure out who sucks more at driving. Obviously the numbers get more complex when you factor in other things. Gender x hours driven by that gender etc

Around 1am last night, I cut in front of Fire truck in front of fire station after that I was passing an audi by using turn lane on do not pass zone just because I have to running away from that fire truck.
I'm proud of it!
