I dont like the overexposure behind it but kinda added to its motion

remember when i couldnt figure out what kind of a person will trade a BMW 650 with sport premium package for a muscle car ??

Anyway, yesterday was the big day and the only thing i told my husband was "Please test drive the SHELBY and the M3 just for comparison's sake."
He loves driving my 335 so I thought having him drive the M3 was my last chance to stop him from crossing over to the FORD family.
And I won ... he absolutely loved the M3 and he thought driving the Shelby was like driving a boat.

Hooorraayy! Im so happy - he got a 2010 M3 with premium and technology package. What a mean muscle machine!!!

I think this thread needs to be killed and we go back to the old style of our posts.

This thread was pushed on us by outsiders who, low and behold, are not even here. It f'ing sucks. Stupid ass busybodys from the soccer mom forum and grandpa forums got to push us around.

Funny, I was one of the 'outsiders' who asked for this thread. It was the regulars that were crying about individials posting OT in different threads... I don't get it. My kids are the same freaking way. Buying them a car is going to prolly be the same way, but I'll tell them "Too F-ing bad".

Since all my cars are used I can hardly wait to buy a new entry level F30 so I can get some "status" and talk to some fascinating "wealthy" people.

The regulars were complaining about a SINGLE poster who was Tweeting incessantly in every thread on the board.

You, as a naive outsider with a simpleton's sense of humor, thought this poster was hilarious. We didn't.

You, as a naive and easily-manipulated outsider, led the lynch mob against our beloved moderator and our best poster creating a huge ruckus where no one here asked you to go. For reasons I can't explain, you've never been called on the carpet or issued an apology.

It is no surprise that you are the only person who takes joy in this thread and what has become of this once-entertaining and compelling forum. What was once a home for sharp-witted discussion and hilarity has turned into a simpleton's paradise.

That single lousy poster turned this place into is own personal Twitter. You and The Female are turning this into Facebook. While the truth should be spoken and sometimes hurts...let's perhaps make sure we don't get the ban stick swung around here too much and discuss something else, shall we?

I tried teaching my wife yesterday how to drive three pedals and it went well...slower than I thought. We are still struggling to get her able to consistently go from stand-still to moving without stalling. There seem to be two issues. (1) Coordinating both feet, and (2) Learning how fast to release the clutch.

We tried various ways. I told her to just give it some throttle (maybe 1,200 RPM or so) and just leave the foot there and slowly release the clutch and the car will be fine. Here, foot coordination seems to not work well because releasing the clutch makes her also release the throttle at times. So we tried just getting to the friction point and getting the car to move and putting the clutch back in as soon as she found it to get use to where it is. That seemed to not help much. In short, every time she used more throttle she seemed to also release the clutch faster and every time she released the clutch more slowly she wouldn't give it enough gas.

I told her it is just like riding a bike and once you get it you get it but for now I suppose we'll just have to keep trying and trying. If anyone has any grand ideas on how to teach this to someone, let me know. As is so often the case, just because you know how to do it doesn't mean you can teach someone else.

To her credit, she did make the tires chirp once before stalling it...

Can you find a deserted parking lot that has a gentle grade such that if you engage the clutch you will roll back? Not sure how it might work with hill assist, but it's a very effective way to learn the friction point and how much gas is needed to not stall the car.

LOL.... I've been a member since '05 (I believe before any of the 'regulars' posting on this page alone), I suppose that makes me an outsider? I was one of several individuals that ASKED about an OT thread. I believed that it would be the place for the 'twitter' posts that you so loath.

BJ, you don't exactly have a fan club here as well... I was just as vocal about your return after your ban, or have you forgotten? . Although I do enjoy your witty unfiltered opinions..Diplomacy surely isn't your strong point.. Keep it coming, I enjoy the Lulz.
