cooling brakes
i bought the grill for the cooling brakes...what do i need a hose.where can i find the parts....thnx george

I think 540's have the plastic ducting & aluminum ducting. Check to see if there's a hole in your inner fender...towards the front of the wheel well....where the air would come in to cool the rotor.
If not...you may need to cut one....search "brake duct" & make sure you're looking at threads for your model. If don't have any parts besides the grille ...you'll need: at least no. 21 here (L&R)...don't know much else for your '97 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...53&hg=51&fg=15 ![]() I recommend grabbing the part no's & getting them from Tischer BMW Cheers, E

I believe that turnermotorsport sells them, they dont really do anything but they look really cool.
