how do u keep the filters clean for the dinan air filters..do u add oil to them like k&n filters..

ya oiling is no problem for the dinan filter just be careful how generous you are with the oil, this is one of those situations where more isnt better. to much and you can ruin the MAF sensor, my roommate learned that the hard way

Yes be very careful. A S62 engine performs no better than its MAF's, they are vital to its performance.

Oiled filters are known to be bad for the M5 mafs, AND give almost no better performance.
The entire Dinan CAI, $2500 worth, adds AT MOST 6hp and only then with their software. Unfortunately MOST OWNERS who oil their fitlers do not realize their MAFs are fouled and drive around with less HP than people running stock paper filters and changing them every other oil change. IMO of course
