M5 badge, Which one is right?

Hello Forum-

I sold my e36 M3 and bought an e39 M5 (need the 4 doors). My M5 badge is a little faded and my birthday is today and I got two badges as gifts. One from Pelican Parts and the other from an ebay store. Both say they are "original OEM BMW". Guess what? They are both different. One is rounded with a more subdued color scheme. The other is more square with brighter colors. Does anyone know which one is correct? I posted pics to help out.

Thank you sir.. Looks like we should let Pelican know they got the wrong stuff. Nice tiller. I work at Stn. 33 (tiller, Engine, Box, USAR, Water rescue, Chief). Its good to see the brothas driving M5's. Stay safe

There is another LaCo brother Havasusteve03 that drives a S/C 2003 e39 M5
