I'm sure even Furball can appreciate the reason for the sacrifice and be a little lenient with his assumption.

I am still working on the exact formula for the Female:Furball weight ratio. Somewhere along the lines of 1:2.

Hey, a quick scheduling question.

If you're joining the group at the diner and want to have breakfast at the diner before the group leaves, is there a suggested arrival time?

Most everyone will be having breakfast at the diner, bring a hearty appetite. If you arrive an hour early you'll have plenty of time to socialize and eat with some new friends.
Arriving at 7:30 gives you an hour before the 8:30 departure. Realistically, get there before 8 and you'll be OK. You can click on the GoogleMap "Tilton Diner" waypoint and there will be a pop up which gives you all the details.

Question for the prestigious/status Washington Hotel members. Do you guys want to have breakfast at the Washington Hotel together? I got the food manager asking me about a group meal.

We're only there Saturday night, but might be around for Sunday breakfast.

Ed, we're really going to miss you this year! What am I going to do with the Steinway I was having delivered to the Woodstock Inn?
Actually, I believe there is a very nice piano in the Grand Lobby of the Mt. Washington Hotel! Oh man, that would have been so cool, you on the piano and me on the...cowbell.

The 335i is at BMW Manhattan having the HPFP and the injectors replaced. I have had no problems but when I brought it in yesterday for routine service they told me that they were going to replace them under the recall.

I will ask the guy about an 8pm dinner group. We just need to come to a consensus on where we want to eat at their facilities. They do have one spot that is 1) less expensive, 2) has a bar, and 3) is open later.

What are your thoughts?

Also, what time are we thinking about Saturday Breakfast? I gotta make sure the place has a restaurant open at that time.

I think Sharon and I are up for dinner on Friday - more casual sounds good to me. I think you may be referring to Fabyan's Station? 8PM also sounds good since we are planning to play 9 holes at an old course we know in VT on the way up if the weather is good Friday.

We are also up for breakfast Saturday (and maybe also Sunday) before we head out to meet up with the others.

Cripe furby, this is New Hampshire, not Maine! Of course they'll have a restaurant open at that time.

I won't be making dinner on Friday night at the Mt. Washington Hotel, but the last time I had dinner in their formal restaurant, it was excellent. Excellent waitstaff, excellent food, excellent music,... I thoroughly enjoyed it. And it really wasn't all that expensive.

ATTN: People interested in the Omni Washington Hotel/Resort

The resort extended the cut off date for the group block until Sat, May 25. So if you missed the deadline to book a room there then you can do so. Just call and let them know you are booking under BMW Race for the Cure.

Please let me know if you do book it and the night(s) you plan to stay. A bunch are staying Fri/Sat for some extra lovin.

Between 2 sets of clubs an overnighter and a donut spare I'd just as soon skip the jacket, though I will relent if I am in the minority.

Fabyan's Station is just a hair to the west - it is another choice.

http://brettonwoods.com/dining/brett...ining/overview

Fabyans Station Restaurant
603-278-2222 - Open year-round!

When most visitors traveled by train, this was the stop for those venturing into New Hampshire's magnificent Crawford Notch. One of the original railroad stations, restored and converted to a restaurant and lounge, Fabyans is located across from the Bretton Woods alpine area and less than a mile from The Mount Washington Hotel. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner year round.

The Fabyans menu is casual and family-friendly, and includes typical pub menu items, including delicious house-smoked items, as well as soups, salads and other entrées. A childrens' menu is available and be sure to have the staff send the model train through the dining room for your kids!
