I just spoke to the Mt. Washington Hotel. They are filling up fast so you should book ASAP. There are approx 80 rooms left at the main hotel and about 13 rooms available at the Bretton Arms accross the road.

This is another possibility:

The Lodge at Bretton Woods

http://hotels.tripzen.com/Bretton-Wo...www.google.com

I checked on line and it looked like it was possible to book a single night for $119.00

All,

It's about $200 w/ a AAA discount for the standard room at the Mt. Washington Hotel. Taxes and fees bring a 2 night stay to roughly $450 which is not bad considering the quality of the hotel.

Do you mean the Mt. W. Hotel? To my knowledge there is a Mt. Washington Valley Inn, but no Mt. W Inn.

This is really going to be funny if you guys are scattered all over the place and think you're hotel-mates.

What's the really nice place we hung out last year? The big grand hotel, where presidents met?
Btw I am bringing scotch with me.

Are we planning fri/sat night?

To Clarify:

The Grand Old Hotel where we met after the Climb is the Omni Resort at Mount Washington AKA the Omni Mt. Washington Hotel

310 Mount Washington Hotel Road
Bretton Woods system, NH
(603) 278-3000

http://www.omnihotels.com/FindAHotel...psg_b-property

The Omni property across the road is the Omni Bretton Arms Inn.

173 Mount Washington Hotel Road
Bretton Woods system, NH 03575
(603) 278-3000

http://www.omnihotels.com/FindAHotel...psg_b-property

You can call the same number (603) 278-3000 to book either property.

We will be staying both Friday and Saturday at the Mt. Washington Hotel since it is a 5 to 7 hour drive for us.

It is gorgeous, but, since we live about 2 hours south of Tipton and the hotel is an hour north, it seems silly to drive through Tipton the night before, get in late, then drive backwards an hour to meet up. So, we'll just do the single night at the Bretton Woods Inn.

Now, for folks with a long drive (say, CT or NYC), coming up the night before makes a lot of sense. And, if you're going to spend 2 nights, doing it at the Mt. Washington Hotel seems to be the way to go.

There is a possibility that those who stay at Bretton Woods will not go to the Tipton meeting site but will rendvous with the Tipton Group at another site. Details are being worked out.

Nhman, as I recall you are the one always sending me a special request to get into ///M's group! I don't know about your driving habits but three people sent PMs saying they would come only if they weren't in your group*. One of them was ///M.
Is there something I need to know about from last year? Something to do with passing skills? Or was that Furby? Anyone driving with him better be wearing Depends.

UPDATE

We have 14 cars signed up already, 9 veterans and 5 first timers! This is way ahead of where we were at this point in the past. We've got verts, wagons, M's, diesels, 328's and 335's. Oh, and a 330. Good mix. Many people will be bringing their spouse or S.O. I will post a list of all attendees and where they're from at the end of the month in case you want to convoy up.
If you know someone in another Forum get in touch with them and tell them about the trip. It's for all Bimmerfesters, not just the denizens of E9x.
I'm going to cross post in 'General', 'New England', and E36, E46 and M if I get permission. We'll try to snag some of them too. There's always a chance they haven't heard the rumors and might want to come.

Oh, I did say "seems" and never said expert.

That being said, I have seen the hotel for a long time (we had a house in Intervale and I did a fair amount of skiing in Bretton Woods in the 70s) and I will attest that it's gorgeous.

Or you can slum it with those of us staying at the Super 8 in the back parking lot of the Tilton Diner on Friday night and then Bretton Woods Inn on Saturday night (my plan).

Last year we stayed at the Holiday Inn in Tilton which is about 2 minutes from the Tilton Diner. It was brand new and the room was very nice.

Honestly, I am innocent here. I think M-rated wrongly influenced Furby. However there is still time for reconciliation.
