Warped Brakes

All,

I have a 645Ci 2004 and I purchased after market rotors and pads, however they keep warping. Are there any good products that will take the high heet of a BMW? Should I just stick with dealer rotors and pads or try ceramic? Please advise...Thanks!

Like I've said many times, there is no comparison to OEM rotors available in the aftermarket for the E63/E64. You can order OEM rotors from getbmwparts.com for about $160 each front and $130 each rear.

The only non-OEM rotors I would recommend are the Centric or Powerslot available here at Zeckhsausen. But for the extra $60 or so per rotor I highly recommend going OEM.

What exactly did you buy pads and rotors wise? i.e. what brands? Did you warp OEM rotors, install new aftermarket rotors and then warp them too, or did you just warp the aftermarket rotors? Can't really recommend what to do next without knowing this.

I went for OEM rotors and aftermarket pads. The $ you save on aftermarket pads can help subsidize the OEM rotors.

A few options:
getbmwparts.com for lower priced OEM parts.

You can also buy Centric rotors and StopTech pads, front and rear, for about $541 from Zeckhausen.

You can also find drilled Centric rotors on eBay for about the same $.
