Surging

When I turn the car on first time in the day the throttle surges. It only does this after sitting all night. But driving around town, I can feel faint surges while driving. This has been going on for about a week. I've had this car 4 years and this is the first time I have experienced this. Any ideas before I dig in?

Start with the basics. Clean your AFM door/flap, ICV and throttle body with some carb cleaner. Then visually check and listen for any vacuum leaks.

Thanks for the help. Turned out that the oxygen sensor was going out.

The O2 sensor doesn't do anything until your car has warmed up. I must have misunderstood. Glad you found your problem, though.
