Removing door panel on x5

Need instructions on removing pass. door panel on 2001 x5. Window is stuck in down position. Do I need to disconnect battery before working on door (side door air bags)

Stuck because the plastic clips broke I had the widow fixed within 30 minutes

go on google and tap in, remove x 5 door pannel, show u in pics exactly what to do. be aware of a few things though, dont remove torx from door handle behind strip, it does not just lift off like it says ! there are retaining clips along the top and u have to pop them off, there is a clip holding the panel on in the middle of the card, put the metal part into the door first then the plastic piece in the pannel then pop them together when u replace the pannel.

hey, what is the trick for the center clip? i got all the perimeter one cleared, but not the center one right above the door handle. Thanks
