Head unit removal/wire colors?

ok, since nobody can seem to help with the speakers, can someone help with the head unit?
I have my current deck in the other car to install in this, and i have plenty of experience in electrical wiring. So i need to know a few things:

In my 97 (e36) m3 sedan:
How do i remove the stock head unit?
Is it a standard single DIN sized unit so i can put the other one in?
Is there a factory amplifier? If so, how do i remove it and where is it?
and finally
what colors go to what speakers, power, ground, antenna, etc..?

thanks in advance!
