BIMMERFEST Featured on KTLA Channel 5 LIVE BROADCAST!!!

I'm new to the forum, but planning on driving my 2000 323ci to the fest.. I'll even wash it if you want to use it. :]

O.k. gang, in a nutshell our plan is to feature different BMW's each hour, with four separate segments as follows:


7:00 am - The Oldest, Classic or Antique, Vintage BMWs.

8:00 am - The Most Expensive, Custom, Modified BMWs

9:00 am - The Newest, Stock BMWs.

1:00 pm - The Bimmerfest Event with more examples of vehicles that will be competing or on display at Bimmerfest.


So far, many of you have expressed an interest in joining us for this unique opportunity, and have posted in this thread. Nonetheless, please repost your intentions here in this thread...

PLEASE help me coordinate this "mini-event" by following-up with a post in this thread specifying your name or "handle", and a ultra-brief description of your BMW automobile. BMW motorcycles might be cool too!

Last year's turnout was phenomenal, let's do it again!!!

Also, I've forwarded this thread and the email I got about the promo event taking place on Friday to the guys that own the E30 BBQ Pit & The E30 Rally car.
Hopefully they can make it. Unfortunately I won't make it to the promo this year but I'll see you all on Saturday. I'm bringing my little ones with me this year.

Attention everyone who is interested in the KTLA LIVE Broadcast: I can't emphasize enough just how important it is for you to sign up (at least post your intention to participate) here in this thread. The reporter/producer has threatened to cancel the shoot if I cannot demonstrate that a sufficient number of people and vehicles will participate, and she has given me until this Friday (May 6th) to prove to her that this is viable, so PLEASE post a "yes" with a picture and description of your BMW in this thread as soon as practicable.

I am fully aware of the Friday the 13th schedule. Watch out for black cats and don't walk under a ladder that day.
On a more serious note to everyone, let's get a count going on who is showing up. It is great that we have a good number of people that will be showing up but let's get a numbered list......
