Help an idiot out with HID install..

Feel free to call me names, point out how much of an incompetent fool I am, just please tell me what the fvck to plug into what!

Ballast plug to headlights, two plugs you see to the old headlight plug, turn on headlights.


I'm not home, so I can't go look at my car, but that's how I did it way back when... I think.

If i recal the e30 requires some special chopping to make the HID harness work.... lemme look, been awhile since we did my friends e30

scratch that looks like you just need to plug yellows into black by the pics

So I plug the yellow ones from the first cord into the black plugs from the second cord? In other words, both cords coming from the ballast plug into each other?

Sh*tty camera is sh*tty, they're actually very bright white with a hint of blue.. 6k bulbs.

They 35w? I have ddm 55w 5000k and they are bright as fack. I love the way they look, except they are aimed to the moon so I should really try to aim them properly

Yep, 35w. They look really nice, pretty bright too. I wasnt sure if I wanted anything super bright, after having HIDs in the 540i and M5 I got kinda sick of knowing I was blinding everybody in the world lol

After having HID's in my car, it's difficult to drive any car that doesn't have excellent lighting (stock) My buddy's Grand Cherokee is the best I've had.

Yea, for some reason, the last gen Grand Cherokees have THE brightest non HID lights I've ever seen.

I do like HIDs, just not the ungodly bright as hell ones.
